Great Road: Velebit North, Croatia
The Velebit North route takes you through some of the northern part of the Velebit National Park.
There are two sections, north, and south. While the South section is gravel, this one is paved. It is split into two as they can be ridden independently.
This road, 5126, continues inland, east, where you can connect to the A1 (toll road), if you’re in a hurry, or loop around via the 5154, to the D25, which connect with the D8 (the Adriatic Sea road).
Or, you can, if you don’t mind easy gravel, continue on the Velebit South route. Which I recommend.
