Great Road: Arabat Spit, Ukraine

This narrow strip of sand connects the eastern part of Crimea with mainland Ukriane.

You will not meet a lot of people before hitting some settlements at the northern end (assuming you are coming from south). Once you hit the settlements, the road will be paved.

Warning!

Most embassies advise against attempting to enter Ukraine. I am not even sure you can.

I’m hoping we one day soon can ride into Crimea as the island is absolutely beautiful, the people awesome (no matter if they are Tartars, Ukrainian or Russian).
